Retro-Fit Scale Kits

You know you need accurate scales on your farm or in your plant, but the cost of a complete scale may have kept you guessing. A retro-fit kit lets you build your own, sized to your job, from durable weigh bars and indicators. The weigh bars connect directly to the indicator, which runs on a 12-volt DC source.

CC-30-3 Weigh Block compression load cells

Avery Weigh-Tronix CC-30-3 compression load cells are weatherized for all climates and suited to truck-mounted feed boxes and wagons. They install between the feed box and the vehicle frame. Cables run to an indicator mounted inside or outside the cab.

Four-wheel scale system

The Weigh-Tronix four-point system weighs boxes, tanks and other loads mounted on four-wheel running gear. WeighBars sit between the load container and the running gear frame, and cables run to an indicator placed where it is easy to use. All indicators work with remote display options.

Animal and platform scales

Turn an existing pen into a livestock scale by attaching four WeighBars underneath and connecting them to an indicator. Build it large for a group or small for a single animal, or work it into an alleyway or loading area. Avery Weigh-Tronix indicators have selectable motion filtering, so livestock movement will not throw off your weights.

A platform scale is just as straightforward, from low-capacity models for feed carts to high-capacity versions for wagons or single axles.

The 660 connects straight to the weigh bars. Lock-and-hold motion filtering keeps livestock weights steady, the display changes colour as you load, and it handles gross, tare and net with accumulation. Current units have Bluetooth. Compare all our indicators.

Cake feeder

The Multi-Purpose Scale installs in a pickup truck with a compact dash-mounted readout. It has 5,000 lb capacity and runs on 12V DC or 110V AC. The load cells double as bolt-on feet under the four corners of a deck or platform, so the same system also suits cattle chutes and livestock weighing stations.
