New iPad or Phone for Libra Harvest: Checklist
A new or replacement iPad is one of the most common Libra calls we get. Do these in order and you will skip most of them.

1. Check the device
- Libra Harvest needs iOS / iPadOS 13 or newer; we recommend 15 or newer. An older iPad that cannot update past iOS 12 cannot run it. See compatible devices.
- Many Android phones and tablets work too, but compatibility depends on the Android version and Bluetooth.
2. Install the right app
- Install Libra Harvest. Not Libra Cart Classic, and not the older iFarm apps.
- Do not run Classic and Harvest side by side. Running both makes duplicate trucks and bins, and Classic can hold on to the Bluetooth connection so Harvest shows dashes. Once your data is in Harvest, delete Classic.
3. Turn on Bluetooth - twice
- Bluetooth on in the device's own settings.
- And the app's own permission: Settings › Libra Harvest › Bluetooth on. A big software update can switch this off without telling you.
4. Bring your data across with the cloud
- On a computer, sign in at cloud.agrimatics.com with the Google account your farm uses.
- Open Users and click the eyeball (Access Code) to get an 8-character code.
- In the app go to More › Cloud, enable backup and enter the code. Your fields, trucks and bins sync down.
- Only sign the old device out after you have seen your data on the cloud website. Signing out removes the Libra data from that device.
The free cloud plan covers one user and one grain cart. A second device on a free account signs the first one out; more devices need a Pro license. See access codes and changing devices.
5. Pair it as the Primary display
- Pair from the app's Settings tab, not from the phone's Bluetooth menu.
- If the cart shows from the old device, swipe left on it and Delete. That does not delete any data.
- Make sure Primary is selected, stand within arm's reach of the Libra box, tap Add Libra, check it, name it and save.
- Pair a second phone as a Remote display only after the Primary is working.
Not connecting? Follow the step-by-step restart.
6. Set it up for harvest
- Screen set to never sleep while unloading (Settings › Display & Brightness › Auto-Lock › Never). A sleeping iPad misses loads.
- Automatic unload detection on, minimum load about 1,000 lb (1,500 to 2,500 on tracks), smoothing on.
