Why weigh the cart
A scale on the cart tells you what every load weighs before it reaches the truck. You load trucks to the limit without going over, check your combine’s yield monitor against real weights, and see which fields actually produced.
What comes in a kit
- Weigh bars sized to your cart — a hitch bar plus axle or frame bars, matched to your hitch and spindle sizes
- Brackets, pins and mounting hardware
- Junction box and cabling
- Your choice of indicator — the Avery Weigh-Tronix 660, or a Libra Cart that reads out on your own phone or tablet
- Calibrated to your cart in our shop before it ships, so it reads right the day you bolt it on
The model number does not settle it
The same cart can come on a single axle, a walking tandem or tracks, and each takes a different set of bars. That is why we ask about your running gear, and sometimes for a photo of the spindle and hitch. A photo settles the bar size when the model number cannot.
Choosing an indicator
Avery Weigh-Tronix 660. A dedicated scale head. Motion filtering holds a steady reading while the cart moves, with gross, tare and net weights and load totals. Current units have Bluetooth.
Libra Cart. Replaces the head with a small Bluetooth device and shows the weight in the free Libra Harvest app on your phone or tablet. Every unload is recorded against its field, truck and destination. The M0018 has the Serial Link built in for a scoreboard or John Deere WeighShare; on the M0014 that is an add-on. Libra plugs straight into existing Digi-Star weigh bars. Compare the Libra models.
Kit price by cart type
The running gear on your cart sets the number of weigh bars and their size, so it sets the price. Every price is a complete kit, calibrated to your cart before it ships.
