A scale on your gravity flow wagon lets you track every load. Whether you run 600+ bushel wagons or 300-bushel models, here is what to know before you buy.
Match the system to your wagon size

- Large wagons (500–1,000+ bushels) benefit most from scissor brackets, load cells with high overload protection, and reinforced pivot points.
- Smaller wagons (about 300 bushels) do not always need a full scissor bracket system. Many operators add it anyway as a safeguard against side loads, vibration and long-term wear.
If you run several wagon sizes or plan to upgrade, pick a system that works on both large and small wagons.
Wagons we’ve fitted
We have put scales on gravity wagons from a 200 bu box up to a Parker 1400. Red tags are models we have fitted ourselves; the rest are the wagons we see most often — send us the model and a photo and we will confirm the build.

Choose your readout

Power
- Self-contained rechargeable battery. No wiring to the tractor.
- Direct connection to existing systems.
Data
Four-way bars connect to the load unit. The readout mounts on a pivot bracket, and the signal runs through a central junction box to a display in the cab.
Best for: the most reliable reading in harsh conditions.
The scale connects to Libra, so you see and record every weight on an iPad or compatible tablet. Nothing to wire into the cab.
Best for: a clean cab, mobile records and precision ag software.
Installation
- Bolt-on design with clear mounting locations.
- Minimal welding on most kits.
- Clear instructions and support for aligning load cells and brackets.
- Components built to handle years of vibration, dust and weather.

Installed correctly, the system gives consistent readings season after season for crop records, landlord settlements and marketing decisions.
Why our wagon systems
- Proven accuracy on hilly ground and during transport.
- Power and readout options to match your equipment.
- Works on both small and large wagons.
- Help choosing between wired and Bluetooth, and with installation and calibration.
